What it costs to join.
A one-time admission fee on election, in two categories, and a yearly subscription based on the category of the member. All amounts include GST at 18 per cent.
Individuals and proprietorship firms
₹50,000 plus ₹9,000 GST
Firms, joint stock companies and corporations
₹75,000 plus ₹13,500 GST
Payable once with the application, along with the first year's subscription.

Members elected after the month of September pay half the annual subscription for that year. The admission fee is a one-time payment on election.
Four steps to membership.
Fill the application form
The form prescribed under Article 13 of the Chamber's Articles of Association asks for the organisation's name and constitution, office and works addresses, nature of business, PAN, GSTN, Aadhaar for proprietorships, employee strength and the last three years' turnover.
Name your representatives
Up to three representatives with their designations, as provided under Article 17. Affix two photographs of the proper representative, and give your directorships or memberships in other organisations and notable achievements.
Get proposed and seconded
An existing member proposes the application and another seconds it. Enclose a cheque for the admission fee plus the first year's subscription, and confirm that you have read the Articles of Association.
Election by the Council
Submit the form to the Secretary at 14/77, Civil Lines, Kanpur 208001. Membership takes effect on election at a meeting of the Chamber, recorded with the date of election and the Chairman's signature.
- Membership is not transferable.
- Any change in the particulars given in the application must be intimated to the Chamber.
- Please attach supporting details for the turnover declared for the last three years.
- The admission fee is a one-time payment; the subscription is renewed every year in the member's category, and members elected after September pay half the annual subscription for that year.
